Die USA sind Ziel der meisten Migranten weltweit und wird sehr wahrscheinlich diese traditionelle Stellung global halten können. Vor allem in den künftigen Mittelschichten aufstrebender, bevölkerungsreicher Schwellen und Entwicklungsländer bilden sich sehr umfangreiche Migrations-Potentiale mit bereits gegenwärtig familliäre und soziale Verbindungen in die USA.
Weiterhin bleibt auch eine gesellschaftliche Notwendigkeit von Bestand die sehr expansive Wirtschaftskultur mit neuen Arbeitskräften zu versorgen. Vor allem systemrelevante Bereiche fordern auch in den kommenden Jahrzehnten aufgrund einer massiven Alterung der Bevölkerung in vielfacher Hinsicht eine stark steigende Personalauslastung. Auch Dienstleistungsbereiche bleiben mindestens bis ins Jahr 2050 hinein mit steigenden Bedarf an Personal - entgegen einer weitreichenden Automatisierung, ein zuverlässiger Zugang für Millionen Neubürger in die USA. Weiterhin bleibt Noramerika insgesamt auch ein Ziel für wohlhabende Zuwanderer mit entsprechend Eigenkapital umd dort eine bessere Lebensqualität zu finden; allein aus Klimarelevanten Gründen siedeln ca. ab 2040 Millionen Menschen z.B aus Südasien oder Afrika in klimagünstigere Weltregionen - mehrheitlich in die USA/Kanada und/oder nach Europa. Die Größenordung dieses Potentials aufgrund der Bevölkerungszahlen der Herkunftsländer - in Hinsicht auf den Bedarf und Expansionskultur der USA, liegen im Bereich zwischen 60 und 100 Millionen Menschen im Zeitraum zwischen den Jahren 2020 und 2050. In dieser hier auf M.d.Z. dargstellten Variante von 84 Millionen Zuwanderer befindet sich im oberen Bereich der Schätzlage.
Ähnlich wie in Mittel und Westeuropa sind es auch in den USA die Städte und Metropolen mit der stärksten Anziehungskraft. Zwar ändern sich die Trends, vor allem bei einheimischen Amerikanern tendenziell in Vorstädte oder Kleinstädte in ländlicher Umgebung zu ziehen, doch werden sehr wahrscheinlich die internationalen Zuwanderer weiterhin mehrheitlich in die großen Stadtzentren einwandern. Dort konzentrieren sich bereits gegenwärtig große internationale Communitys oft in Lebensweise ihrer Herkunftskultur. Außerdem sind US-Amerikanische Städte - bei weitem - großzügiger angelegt; selbst die Zentren werden trotz starker zukünftiger Verdichtung nur im Ansatz an jene Zentren anknüpfen aus denen die meisten Zuwanderer kommen werden. (Delhi, Mexiko-Stadt, Shanghai, Lagos, usw.) Selbst Kleinstädte in Indien oder Mexiko sind sehr viel dichter angelegt als US-Amerikanische Siedlungen bei gleicher demografischer Größe. Diese Unterschiede werden weltweit wahrgenommen und als maßgeblichen Zugewinn an Lebensqualität betrachtet - einer der Hauptgründe zur Migration in die USA.
Ausblik nach 2050: Trotz stetig abnehmenden Geburtenraten und zeitgleich steigenden Sterbezahlen expandiert die US-Bevölkerung wahrscheinlich auch nach 2050 weiterhin deutlich. Der Grund liegt in der steigenden Migration weltweit vor allem aus den stark bevölkerten Regionen in Südasien und Afrika mit klimakritischen und sozialrelevanten Umständen. Bei einer geschätzten Gesamt-Migration von rund 40 Millionen Zuwanderern zwischen 2050 und 2060 könnte der Höhepunkt der US-Einwanderung erreicht sein, da nach 2060 weltweit das Bevölkerungswachstum deutlich abnimmt. Bereits in den USA liegt die Geburtenrate je Frau bei 1,2 Kindern im Jahr 2050. Bis zu 65% der Zuwanderer werden in diesem Zeitraum aus Südasien (Indien, Bangladesch, Pakistan) sowie aus Afrika kommen während traditionelle, starke Zuwanderergruppen aus Lateinamerika deutlich weniger hinzukommen. Ein Grund ist die demografische Entwicklung in Lateinamerika mit ähnlich niedrigen Fertilitätsraten wie in Nordamerika und weit bessere Wirtschaftsentwicklungen mit einer zeitgleich hohen Alterung der dortigen Gesellschaften. Ähnliche Prozesse finden in Südasien und Afrika erst nach 2060 statt.
